Founded in 1949, the Alabama Forestry Association (AFA) is a 501c(6) non-profit trade association representing the forestry community of Alabama. The forest products industry is one of Alabama’s largest manufacturing industries generating almost $20 billion in economic impact and providing 10% of the total jobs. Membership includes forest products companies, wood suppliers, loggers, forest landowners, as well as others involved in the growing, harvesting, transporting and manufacturing of forest products in Alabama.
