Alabama Forestry Cooperative |

The Alabama Forestry Cooperative has broken ground on it's first unmanned diesel fuel station in Cottonton, Alabama. The AFC was formed to help loggers and others in the forest industry combat the rising costs associated with forestry operations. Alabama was the top fund-raiser last year in the Log a Load for Kids competition, raising some $421,500 to 2nd place Arkansas' $421,098. Congratulations to everybody involved with making the 2007 year one of our best!
Things are moving pretty fast in 2008, with events held in the Warrior, Piedmont, Delta, Wiregrass and Capital Districts and planned in the Longleaf, Piedmont (Golf Tournament) Wiregrass (golf Tourney) Districts and a Statewide Golf Tournament! |
